For some years I have worked in a nursing home for those with mental health conditions, as well as caring for troubled children. Mental health problems are probably the single most common affliction in our population and can affect people of all ages and classes. The variety in the job is very attractive, and the prospect of having the skills to help those who are seriously troubled is very rewarding.
